The Art of Storytelling
The Coleman Global Initiative, LLC empowers individuals and communities to tell their own stories through media, education, and the arts—unlocking the power of storytelling to educate, uplift, and transform lives. We proudly serve older adults, school-aged youth, and military veterans across all five boroughs of New York City, creating inclusive pathways for expression, learning, and connection.
Founded by Timothy “StoneDancer” Coleman, a Broadway actor, Grammy-nominated songwriter, and television and podcast host, the organization is rooted in a lifelong commitment to creativity, community, and purpose. Timothy’s vision is for global citizens to experience their passions fully and see their stories come to life in meaningful, impactful ways.
The Coleman Global Initiative, LLC is a New York City and New York State–certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).
Our programming is anchored by The Colors of Sound Podcast Planner and Journal and our signature curriculum, The Art of Storytelling, which guides participants in discovering, shaping, and sharing their unique narratives—empowering them to use their voices to engage audiences, strengthen communities, and impact the world.
