The People’s StoryLab, LLC is the education and community-storytelling division of Media By The People. Rooted in New York City, The People’s StoryLab creates accessible, engaging media-education experiences that help learners of all ages explore storytelling, creativity, communication, digital media, and responsible creative technology

The People’s StoryLab, LLC is a certified Minority Business Enterprise with New York City, New York State, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Through storytelling, podcasting, media production, arts education, bilingual and intergenerational projects, and creative technology, we help people discover the power of their voices and transform lived experience into meaningful creative work.

Our signature program, The Art of Storytelling, supports middle school students, high school students, families, older adults, military veterans, educators, and community groups through hands-on training in personal narrative, writing, public speaking, podcasting, audio production, video storytelling, digital media, community interviews, and reflective creative practice.
